Job Description
Morsan is a global powerhouse in HR consultancy, currently seeking a Public Area Attendant. The role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal in all public spaces of the facility. This role ensures that high-traffic areas like lobbies, restrooms, and lounges remain fresh and inviting for guests throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, staircases, restrooms, lounges, and outdoor spaces. Ensure continuous upkeep of high-traffic areas to maintain neatness and freshness.
Supply Management: Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, tissue, and air fresheners. Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of housekeeping storage rooms and supply carts.
Maintenance & Polishing: Polish furniture, fixtures, glass surfaces, railings, and metallic fittings to maintain high aesthetic standards.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate cleaning machines and equipment, including buffers, vacuum cleaners, and scrubbers.
Deep Cleaning: Perform periodic deep-cleaning activities such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and floor polishing.
Safety & Reporting: Respond immediately to spills, hazards, or urgent cleaning requests. Monitor and report any maintenance issues such as faulty lighting, damaged fittings, or blocked drains.
Operational Support: Handle cleaning chemicals responsibly (MSDS compliance). Assist with event setup, cleaning requirements for conferences, and post-event breakdown.
Guest Relations: Maintain professionalism when interacting with guests and respond courteously to inquiries or requests.
Documentation: Record daily tasks, supply usage, and any incidents encountered during the shift.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Housekeeping, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in housekeeping or public area maintenance roles, preferably in a hospitality setting.
Good communication skills and a positive, customer-friendly attitude.
High level of discipline, honesty, and reliability.
Physically fit and able to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
