Job Description
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the National Prosecuting Authority in Kenya, mandated by the Constitution to prosecute all criminal cases in the country. The ODPP is an independent prosecutorial authority established by Article 157 of the Constitution of Kenya. The Office is seeking to recruit five (5) officers for the Public Affairs & Corporate Communication department.
Role Overview
This role involves managing the public image, digital presence, and communication strategies of the ODPP. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring effective corporate communication and maintaining the office's professional relationship with the public and media.
Key Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science with a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism for general degree holders.
Membership to the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) or any other relevant professional body.
Demonstrated compliance with the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Proficiency in Graphic Design and Videography is considered an added advantage.
