The Project Manager at Kingdom Bank Limited is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. This role involves planning and designating project resources, preparation of budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the entire project lifecycle. Kingdom Bank is a subsidiary of the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, and this role plays a vital part in its transformational vision.
Responsibilities
Lead Requirements Elicitation, Business Requirements Analysis, Business Solution Assessment and Validation, Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, and formulation of Business Requirement documents (BRD).
Manage project portfolio, prioritization, and budgeting, including daily tracking of all bank technology and business projects.
Drive continuous improvement by reviewing bank-wide processes and manuals, focusing on areas requiring support to achieve transformation goals.
Lead stakeholder relationship management, acting as a single point of contact and facilitating ownership of new business requirements.
Analyze business processes, identify alternative solutions, and recommend new approaches based on feasibility.
Execute continuous business process re-engineering to optimize process efficiency.
Assist business users in identifying problems and needs, and translate stakeholder concerns into technology-enabled solutions.
Facilitate problem-solving sessions for identified gaps and escalate key issues to unlock business potential.
Requirements
University degree preferably in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Lean Six Sigma (Green and Yellow Belt) Training.
Project Management (PRINCE II or PMP) certification is a plus.
At least 5 years’ experience in the project management field with a proven track record of completed technology-related projects.
Professional qualifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Change Management (e.g., CBAP/CCBA, CBPP, PMI-PBA, ITIL, PMP, Prosci Change Practitioner, ITSM) are an added advantage.
