UNICEF is seeking a Programme Associate (G-6) for a 364-day Temporary Appointment within the Global Programme Division's Child Protection/Migration Centre of Excellence based in Nairobi. The Global Programme Division (GPD) plays a central role in driving programme excellence across UNICEF, providing global strategic leadership and policy direction, developing and monitoring frameworks and standards, and ensuring coherence and alignment across sectors, regions, and partners. GPD generates high‑impact, evidence‑based solutions and serves as a hub of specialized expertise, offering technical guidance on policy reform and scalable programming.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Global Programme Division in driving programme excellence and strategic leadership.
Assist in monitoring frameworks and standards to ensure coherence and alignment across sectors and partners.
Contribute to the generation of high-impact, evidence-based solutions.
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Child Protection/Migration Centre of Excellence (COE).
Perform data analysis and assist in budget monitoring for various programmes.
Support grant management activities and financial tracking within the division.
Utilize digital literacy and project management skills to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary education (KCSE or equivalent) is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
Work Experience: A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Data Analysis, Budget Monitoring, Grant Management, and Digital Literacy.
Professional Skills: Strong capabilities in Project Management.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required.
