The Production Technician at Safal Group is responsible for supervising workshop staff, ensuring production targets are achieved, and maintaining equipment efficiency. The role requires optimizing machine utilization, documenting preventive maintenance, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize Human Resource
Supervise workshop staff and determine workforce needs to make appropriate placements.
Ensure materials are used correctly according to set guidelines.
Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide on-the-job training for the supervised team.
Ensure Production Targets are Met
Document and monitor preventive maintenance and optimize machine utilization.
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all tools and equipment.
Inspect equipment, generate reports, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Record operations data accurately in the logbook.
Coordinate with the maintenance department during shutdowns to ensure jobs are completed within specified timeframes.
Continual Improvement
Coordinate the execution of planned jobs and ensure 5K compliance in supervised zones.
Report all accidents and near misses promptly.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
