Role Overview\nAs a Production Supervisor in the Wood Industry at Summit Human Resource & Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes to ensure targets are met within specified quality parameters. You will manage shift staff, ensure workplace safety, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Ensure production targets are achieved in line with correct product specifications and quality parameters.\n- Maintain the smooth running of production processes and account for production wastage on shift.\n- Take full responsibility for the shift management of staff, including monitoring attendance and maintaining required headcounts.\n- Ensure the quality of products produced during the shift complies with company quality systems and product specifications.\n- Manage, develop, and motivate staff while handling grievances and disciplinary issues according to company policies.\n- Monitor, measure, and report on production-related performance and general issues.\n- Ensure effective communication is transmitted to all shift members.\n- Enforce Health and Safety rules and regulations, reporting all matters to the relevant authorities.\n- Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and resolve operational challenges.\n- Work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure effective production handovers.\n- Coordinate staff training to meet current and future departmental demands.\n- Support the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve growth objectives.\n- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.\n- Optimize company resources to ensure best operating costs.\n- Assist the Production Manager in implementing procedures for ISO QMS, OH&S, EMS, and EnMS.\n\n### Key Outputs / Accountabilities\n- Preparation of daily and 2-hourly production reports.\n- Achievement of production targets with minimum wastage.\n- Adherence to quality parameters and product specifications.\n- Efficient staff allocation and utilization.\n- Maintenance of good housekeeping and worker safety.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- Minimum ‘O’ Level or Diploma in Engineering or Business Management.\n- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position and manufacturing environment.\n- A Degree in a Technical field with at least 1 year’s experience in manufacturing.\n- Computer literacy and familiarity with manufacturing management.\n- Strong people management, communication, and analytical skills.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to: using the position as the subject of the email.
