This role is responsible for the service and repair of units in line with CFAO Kenya quality guidelines to enhance customer satisfaction and attain Case after-sales targets. The position ensures that tractors operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity for agricultural operations.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
Repair Services: Carry out repairs in the field and workshop in line with CFAO Kenya guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
Component Assembly: Disassemble and reassemble tractor components, ensuring proper functioning of the unit.
Inspection: Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure all tractor systems are working as required.
Training: Train tractor operators on safety, basic maintenance, and tractor settings to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical failures and repair tractors according to CNHI manuals and factory specifications using Electronic Service Tools (EST) for MHP and HHP tractors.
Complex Repairs: Conduct complex repairs, including engine overhauls, hydraulic systems, and transmission repairs.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records in the DR book of all maintenance and repair work performed and submit online technical reports through the CNHI dealer portal.
Workshop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly work area according to 5S Standards and perform additional inspections as assigned.
Administrative Accuracy: Ensure accuracy of work orders by charging parts and labor to the proper work order segment.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Degree in Agriculture Machinery or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
Key Competencies
Technical Skills: Expertise in agricultural machinery, computer literacy, and EST diagnostics on high horsepower tractors.
Functional Skills: Proficiency in report writing, presentation, and communication.
Behavioral Attributes: Innovation, effective time management, drive for results, strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, and high integrity.
