This role is responsible for the service and repair of units in line with CFAO Kenya quality guidelines, for enhanced customer satisfaction and attainment of the Case after-sales targets. Additionally, the role ensures that tractors operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity for agricultural operations.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
Carry out repairs in the field and in the workshop in line with the CFAO Kenya guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
Disassemble and reassemble tractor components, ensuring proper functioning of the unit.
Carry out pre-delivery inspection to ensure all the tractor systems are working as required.
Train tractor operators on safety, basic maintenance as well as on tractor settings to ensure minimal disruption to the client’s business operations.
Diagnose mechanical failures and repair tractors according to CNHI manuals and factory specifications.
Use an electronic service tool (EST) to identify faults in MHP and HHP tractors.
Conduct complex repairs, including engine overhauls, hydraulic system, and transmission repairs.
Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with EHS standards.
Maintained detailed records in the DR book of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Submit online technical reports in the CNHI dealer portal.
Perform additional general repairs and inspections as assigned by the workshop supervisor.
Ensures accuracy of work orders by charging parts and labor to the proper work order segment.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area to 5S Standards.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Degree in Agriculture Machinery / Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.

Technical: Agricultural machinery, Computer literacy, Electronic service tool diagnostic on high horse power tractors [EST], and Customer service.
