Powder Coating Technician

The powder coating technician is a key component in the Production team. They are responsible for ensuring a very high-quality finish is given to all our powder coated products.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Ensure proper material surface preparation and handling prior to powder coating.\n- Apply powder coating to all items in their appropriate color.\n- Monitor inventory levels and alert the production manager when powder paints are near depletion.\n- Design and implement methods to ensure minimal powder paint waste.\n- Develop efficient powder coating support structures suitable for mass production.\n- Maintain equipment including compressors, powder coating machines, and ovens in good working condition.\n- Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve errors found during testing or normal operations.\n- Propose ideas to minimize errors and improve efficiency.\n- Assist with the packing of products for shipping.\n- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.\n- Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Manager.\n\n### Qualifications and Requirements\n- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or a relevant field.\n- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in powder coating or industrial finishing.\n- High attention to detail, patience, and a keen eye for quality.\n\n### Desired Skills\n- Strong team player with effective collaboration skills.\n- Ability to solve technical problems quickly under production pressure.\n- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and reach for extended periods, and perform heavy lifting.\n\n### Benefits\n- Salary: KES 20,000 per month.\n- Opportunities for professional development and training in advanced machining techniques.\n- Comprehensive benefits package including WIBA/GPA and paid leave.\n- A supportive work environment focused on safety and career growth.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online by visiting the application portal at:
