Job Description
The Playlist Management & Acquisition Person is responsible for the end-to-end management of broadcast content across Linear TV and Connected TV (CTV) platforms. The role ensures seamless scheduling, content readiness, compliance, and strategic acquisition aligned with audience demand, brand positioning, and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Playlist Management: Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term playlists for Linear TV and CTV platforms.
Scheduling Optimization: Optimize scheduling for peak viewing times and audience engagement.
Event Coordination: Coordinate live events, special programming, and breaking content adjustments.
Content Review: Preview all acquired and locally produced content prior to airing to ensure editorial quality, technical standards, and compliance with broadcast regulations.
EPG Maintenance: Create, update, and maintain accurate Electronic Program Guide (EPG) listings for all platforms, ensuring consistency of program metadata and descriptions.
Digital Adaptation: Adapt broadcast content for CTV and on-demand platforms.
Performance Tracking: Track ratings, audience data, and content performance.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Degree or Diploma in Media, Communications, Broadcast, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in TV scheduling, programming, or content acquisition.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Linear TV and CTV ecosystems.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with broadcast scheduling systems and EPG tools.
Analytical Skills: Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Core Competencies: Strong editorial judgment, coordination, communication skills, and audience understanding.
