We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while maintaining the highest standards of safety, integrity, and excellence in pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients.
Review prescriptions for correctness, completeness, and clinical appropriateness.
Provide basic patient counseling on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
Maintain proper drug storage conditions and perform rigorous stock control and inventory management.
Ensure full compliance with hospital pharmacy protocols and regulatory standards set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
Requirements
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) with a valid and current practicing license.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital environment or a busy retail pharmacy setup.
Good attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
