We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our team in Trans-Nzoia.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing prescriptions accurately to patients and providing clear instructions on medication dosage, usage, and safety.
Managing and maintaining inventory of pharmaceutical stock, ensuring appropriate storage and quality control.
Utilizing Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) to update patient records and track inventory.
Providing high-quality customer service, answering patient inquiries, and offering professional counseling on drug interactions and side effects.
Ensuring compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations and all internal healthcare policies.
Job Requirements
Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
At least one (1) year of post-internship working experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Valid and active registration/license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
Proficiency in computer skills, specifically in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
