Responsibilities
Build productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communications.
Assist Service Technicians in determining parts requirements.
Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and staff.
Inform customers when special order parts have arrived.
Provide Technicians with necessary parts with minimal wait time; use pre-picking parts when applicable (e.g., when customer is coming in for recall part or scheduled service interval).
Apply retailing techniques to sell and display parts and accessories.
Coordinate with Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and others to ensure that parts requests are met.
Identify and support opportunities for methods/process improvement in the Parts Department.
Use parts resources (catalogues) to acquire information on parts and accessories inventory.
Maintain tight control over parts inventory to increase efficiency and eliminate customer delays.
Make full use of inventory allowances to keep idle and obsolete inventory to a minimum.
Maintain a proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders, back orders, etc.
Receive and answer customer enquiries on parts and make follow-ups for sales.
Keep up to date with New Holland and competitor products and rates.
Place special orders and make follow-ups for sales.
Upsell parts whenever serving customers.
Actively participate in promotions that the company may organize.
Evaluate parts accounts, prospects, and ensure customer loyalty.
Execute sales growth strategies monthly and quarterly for parts sales.
Map regions according to their parts purchasing capabilities and prepare a detailed visit plan.
Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree holder in a business-related field.
2 years’ experience in agricultural machinery parts sales with a notable sales record.
Customer service training will be an added advantage.
Strong customer focus.
Valid Driving License.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential.
Ability to meet deadlines and to work autonomously and as part of a team.
