Bayes (the trading name of PI Capital) is a diversified Kenyan Microfinance and an award-winning institution providing mobile loans, logbook loans, asset financing, salary advance, and merchant loans. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Partnership Sales Officer to join our team, focusing on Checkoff and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) partnerships. In this role, you will identify potential partnerships with employers and suppliers and nurture relationships that align with our mission to grow and improve our financial solutions.
Responsibilities
Find New Partners: Scout out new business opportunities and partnerships with employers and suppliers to help Bayes reach more customers.
Build Strong Relationships: Ensure alignment with partners and work towards common growth goals.
Negotiate & Close Deals: Handle discussions and negotiations with potential partners to establish win-win agreements.
Work Closely with Teams: Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure partnerships are aligned with organizational needs.
Track Success: Monitor partnership performance after formation and suggest ways to improve and grow the relationships.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with trends in digital lending and fintech to bring fresh insights to the team.
Requirements
BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
2-3 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or sales, ideally focusing on Check-off partnerships.
Experience working with a digital credit provider or microfinance institution.
Hands-on experience in selling check-off partnership loans.
Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven negotiation abilities.
Self-motivated with strong time management and prioritization skills.
A team player who enjoys solving challenges.
