Successful applicants will be expected to support Bomet University College's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students within the statistics department.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in Statistics or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Show evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or the National Qualification Authority (NQA).

All interested candidates must submit two (2) hard copies of their application, comprising the following:
A formal application letter specifying the applicant's area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience, and current place of employment.
A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.
Certified copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience, National ID or passport, testimonials, and a certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
