Bomet University College is seeking successful applicants to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students as a Part-Time Lecturer in Immunology. The role involves delivering high-quality education and fostering academic excellence within the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Deliver lectures and practical training in Immunology.
Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, and assess student performance through exams and assignments.
Contribute to the academic and professional development of students.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field (Immunology or related) from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Provide evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) / National Qualification Authority (NQA).
