Bomet University College is seeking to appoint qualified individuals as Part-Time Lecturers in Physical Chemistry to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Key Responsibilities
Support the University's core mandate through teaching and training undergraduate/postgraduate students in Physical Chemistry.
Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate academic discussions.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and research pursuits.
Develop and update course materials, curriculums, and assessment guidelines.
Design and grade examinations, coursework, and other evaluations.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in Physical Chemistry or a closely related field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level, evidenced by letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Show evidence of having published research work in credible refereed journals.
For applicants with foreign academic qualifications, provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) / National Qualification Authority (NQA).
