Successful applicants will be expected to support Bomet University College's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students in the field of Organic Chemistry.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and conduct practical training sessions in Organic Chemistry.
Support the university's core mandate through active mentorship of students.
Participate in academic development and department-level activities.
Evaluate and assess students' academic progress through examinations and coursework.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field (Organic Chemistry) from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE)/National Qualification Authority (NQA).
