Bomet University College is seeking part-time lecturers in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote Sensing. Successful applicants will be expected to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake teaching and training of students in GIS and Remote Sensing.
Mentor students and support their academic growth.
Contribute to the university's academic environment through high-quality pedagogy and supervision.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE)/National Qualification Authority (NQA).
