Job Description
The County Government of Kitui is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of Office Administrative Assistant III. This role is responsible for providing essential administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth operation of county offices.
Responsibilities
Taking oral dictation.
Word and data processing from manuscripts.
Operating office equipment and ensuring the security of office equipment, documents, and records.
Attending to visitors and clients in a professional manner.
Handling telephone calls and managing appointments.
Undertaking any other office administrative service duties that may be assigned.
Requirements
Be a Citizen of Kenya.
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (minus) with at least C (plain) in English or Kiswahili Language or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES & GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the following subjects: (a) Typewriting II (minimum 40 w.p.m)/Computerized Document Processing II; (b) Business English I/Communications I; (c) Office Practice; (d) Commerce I OR Craft Certificate in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council.
Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
