About the Hospital
AIC Kijabe Hospital is a faith-based hospital sponsored by the Africa Inland Church, Kenya. Established in 1915, it has grown into a multi-specialty facility with a bed capacity of 363, serving patients from all over Kenya and other African countries. It has recently been classified as a level 6B National Tertiary Teaching and Referral Hospital.
Role Overview
The Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in patient care, helping individuals recover, improve, and maintain the skills necessary for daily living and working. This position requires clinical expertise, adaptability, and high ethical standards to deliver comprehensive therapy services to patients.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Licensing: Valid Practicing License from the Occupational Therapy Council of Kenya.
Registration: Registered by the Kenya Occupational Therapists Association.
Interpersonal Skills: Flexible, willing to learn, and able to work flexible hours to achieve patient care goals.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Ethics: High integrity and ethical practice.
