Job Description

Equity Afia is a network of medical entrepreneurs composed of qualified and experienced doctors aiming to provide high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare to the majority of Kenyans.

Role Overview

The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients visiting the medical centre, ensuring that professional standards and healthcare policies are met.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB or MBBS) from a recognized university.
Licensing: Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Experience: At least one (1) year of internship experience in either a public or private hospital.
Certifications: Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting procedures.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
