Role Overview
The County Government of Bomet is inviting applications for the position of Medical Officer (5 Positions). The successful candidates will be expected to provide high-quality medical services within the county's health facilities, ensuring patient care meets professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive clinical care and medical treatment to patients.
Perform medical and minor surgical procedures as necessary.
Conduct patient evaluations, diagnosis, and management of various health conditions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Adhere to medical protocols and the code of ethics established by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B; Ch.B.) degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Successfully completed one (1) year of Internship from a recognized institution.
A valid Registration license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
A Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
