The Mechanical Assistant provides support to Mechanical Engineers and Technicians to ensure consistent water production, distribution, and wastewater treatment. This is achieved through the optimum deployment, utilization, maintenance, and rehabilitation of plants and equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Undertake Mechanical Engineering works while ensuring projects match client specifications.
Monitor mechanical work progress and maintain detailed, accurate records of all tasks performed.
Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and installations as assigned.
Execute the installation, servicing, and general maintenance of all mechanical infrastructure and equipment.
Academic Qualifications
Must have a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized learning institution.
A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized learning institution will be considered an added advantage.
