This position is responsible for implementing strategies to ensure achievement of business growth objectives for the Bank by acquiring Islamic Banking products within the assigned Amanah Retail and MSME Portfolio. The role focuses on customer growth, retention, and business profitability while ensuring full compliance with Islamic Banking standards and Sharia’h law.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Performance: Implement sales strategies to deliver superior performance through efficient resource allocation and managing priorities to meet economic profit goals.
Team Management: Set targets and drive Business Bankers towards achieving and exceeding goals through monitoring, review, and continuous communication.
Relationship Management: Drive cross-selling by tailoring liability and asset solutions to deepen client relationships at the branch level.
Product Development: Collaborate with partners to develop product bundles, pricing, and campaigns; provide feedback on product performance and support new product rollouts.
Process Improvement: Identify and develop product solutions to meet Islamic Banking segment needs and improve turnaround times and service delivery.
Credit & Risk Management: Liaison with the credit division to ensure robust credit criteria and manage the loan book to maintain a minimum non-performing portfolio.
Customer Experience: Advocate for customer requirements across bank functions to deliver high service standards that delight customers.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Islamic Banking standards, Sharia’h law, KYC requirements, and internal bank policies.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or a business-related field from a recognized university.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Banking, with at least 2 years specifically in Relationship Management.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Islamic banking principles and Sharia’h law application.
Certifications: Professional Certification in Sales & Marketing or Islamic Banking is an added advantage.
