Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Analyst responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and optimizing maintenance programs and operations to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with organizational and client requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance teams to collect data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Program Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of maintenance programs, schedules, and activities to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor fleet and equipment performance data to assess maintenance needs and develop strategies for optimizing uptime and reliability.
Strategic Optimization: Evaluate and recommend adjustments to maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to align with operational goals and manufacturer guidelines.
Reporting Systems: Develop and maintain maintenance reporting systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
Data-Driven Insights: Prepare performance reports and provide insights to inform decision-making and improve operations.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and develop corrective and preventive maintenance strategies.
Predictive Maintenance: Support the development, implementation, and supervision of predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
History Review: Review equipment and component maintenance history to identify trends and forecast future requirements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with maintenance standards and operational policies in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and management to identify training needs and track performance metrics.
Requirements
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in maintenance analysis, planning, or a related role involving data analysis and operational optimization.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of maintenance processes, concepts, and industry standards, particularly equipment and system reliability.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or other maintenance tracking tools.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and maintenance performance reporting to resolve operational inefficiencies.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Travel Readiness: Must possess a valid passport (valid for at least one year) and be able to travel internationally.
Deployment Readiness: Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain physical readiness for deployment.
Authorization: Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
