Key Responsibilities
Production Efficiency: Ensure the safe operation of production equipment to deliver customer requirements through the completion of the production plan, adhering to quality standards and maximizing cost-effectiveness, optimal running, and equipment efficiency.
Maintenance & Inspection: Carry out cleaning and inspection activities and record any issues or problems with the equipment to pass to the Technician for resolution.
Factory Resilience: Master the operation of a series of machines to provide factory resilience.
Process Improvement: Conduct cleaning and lubrication as required and maintain machinery to prescribed standards and levels of cleanliness.
Quality Control: Proactively work with Professional Maintenance and Quality Control staff to achieve zero breakdowns and zero defects.
Changeovers: Carry out product and process changeovers to maintain quality standards while minimizing the impact on the production plan.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum professional qualification is a Diploma.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Machine Operator, specifically within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company.
Technical Knowledge: Basic mechanical awareness of the principles for factory automation, including knowledge of mechanism, motion, and pneumatics.
Problem Solving: Ability to maintain focus and discipline for the task while demonstrating good problem-solving skills to protect output targets.
IT Skills: Competent in the use of machine data and control systems that record Losses, Safety, and Quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is essential.
Material Knowledge: Understanding of the properties of materials being handled to perform correct adjustments and settings.
