Reeds Africa Consult (RAC) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lower Primary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and supporting the holistic development of learners. This role requires a professional who can create a positive and inclusive environment while effectively managing student progress and classroom behavior.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBC curriculum.
Prepare comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Monitor and evaluate learners’ academic and social progress consistently.
Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior among students.
Prepare and utilize appropriate teaching and learning resources to enhance instruction.
Communicate effectively with parents and school administration regarding student development.
Participate actively in co-curricular activities and other school-related events.
Requirements
Must possess a Diploma in ECDE or a P1 Certificate (Mandatory).
Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) (Mandatory).
Previous experience in teaching Lower Primary is considered an added advantage.
A deep and practical understanding of the CBC curriculum framework.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
