Job Description
The Open University of Kenya is seeking qualified individuals to deliver part-time lectures in Human Resource Management and Leadership Development. The successful candidates will support the university's mission of offering flexible, high-quality online and distance education by leveraging technology and digital learning tools.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and instructional support in Human Resource Management and Leadership Development.
Support and mentor students in an online/distance learning environment.
Handle, curate, and adapt digital course content to enhance the online learning experience.
Evaluate student performance through assignments and exams, providing timely feedback.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Computer literacy with a strong capability to handle digital learning platforms and support students online.
Good standing with relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
