Mogo Finance is seeking a dedicated Logbook Collection Agent to join the team in Nairobi. The role is primarily responsible for the efficient collection and management of vehicle logbooks for loans issued through our network of dealers and distributors. This position involves significant administrative coordination, data tracking, and interaction with external partners to ensure smooth ownership transfers on the TIMS platform.
Key Responsibilities
Logbook Collection: Collect all logbooks for all loans issued from Dealers and distributors.
Transfer Status Tracking: Update the transfer status of all collected logbooks and data received from dealers/distributors.
Follow-up: Assist in the collection and follow-up of the most urgent logbooks to meet business timelines.
TIMS Management: Handle the process of accepting or rejecting ownership of all transfers on TIMS and resolve any complications associated with the process.
Direct Transfers: Request direct transfers of logbooks as required on a case-by-case basis.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all logbooks where ownership has been accepted and ensure internal records are updated.
Administrative Tasks: Perform office duties such as filing, printing, and general record-keeping.
Data Coordination: Prepare and send data to distributors and dealers regarding unsuccessful transfers for their follow-up and resubmission.
Stakeholder Engagement: Visit and hold meetings with dealers and distributors to maintain healthy working relationships.
Reporting: Generate all required operational and management reports.
Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
Professionalism: Strong desire to learn along with a high level of professional drive.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Computer Literacy: Excellent computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
Languages: Fluent in both English and Swahili.
