Railway Training Institute (RTI) is one of the oldest training institutions in the East African Region, inaugurated in 1956 as a skill development center. The Institute is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Part-Time Lecturers in the field of Tourism & Hospitality to join its teaching database.
Role Purpose
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for the tourism and hospitality industry. Please note that this is not a permanent or contract employment recruitment. Successful candidates will be placed in the Institute's database and will only be engaged on a need basis.
Mandatory Requirements
Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Pedagogical Training: A Degree in Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), or a Diploma in Technical Education / Instructors’ Training Course.
Professional Status: Registration and/or membership with a relevant professional body.
Accreditation: Must possess TVET accreditation.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years’ teaching experience or relevant industry experience at a comparable level.
