Railway Training Institute (RTI) is one of the oldest training institutions in the East African Region, established in 1956 to develop human resources for the railway sector. The Institute is seeking qualified individuals to serve as part-time Lecturers in Railway Engineering. Successful candidates will be placed in the Institute's database and engaged on a need basis to deliver technical education and training, ensuring that curriculum standards are met and students are well-prepared for the industry.\n\n### Mandatory Requirements\n- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university\n- Degree in Education or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or Diploma in Technical Education / Instructors’ Training Course\n- Registration and/or membership with a relevant professional body\n- TVET accreditation\n- A minimum of four (4) years’ teaching or relevant industry experience at a comparable level\n\n### Important Information\n- This is not a permanent or contract employment recruitment. Successful candidates will be placed in the Institute database and will only be engaged on a need basis.\n- All current part-time lecturers are required to reapply.\n- RTI is an equal opportunity employer.
