Railway Training Institute (RTI) is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join its database of Part-Time Lecturers in the Mechanical Engineering department. The successful candidates will be engaged on an as-needed basis to deliver high-quality technical instruction and contribute to the development of human resources within the engineering sector. Please note that this recruitment is for database placement rather than permanent or immediate contract employment. All current part-time lecturers at the institute are required to reapply for consideration.
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Pedagogical Training: A Degree in Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), or a Diploma in Technical Education / Instructors’ Training Course.
Professional Alignment: Registration and/or membership with a relevant professional body.
Accreditation: Valid TVET accreditation is required.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of teaching experience or relevant industry experience at a comparable level.
