The Railway Training Institute (RTI) is looking for qualified and experienced individuals to join its pool of part-time lecturers for the Electrical Engineering department. The role involves delivering high-quality technical education and training to students to equip them with the necessary skills for the engineering sector.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver comprehensive lectures to students in Electrical Engineering modules.
Develop and implement instructional materials and lesson plans aligned with TVET standards.
Conduct student assessments, grading, and provide constructive feedback on academic progress.
Supervise practical workshops and technical engineering projects.
Maintain accurate student records and monitor overall academic performance.
Adhere to the institutional quality standards and TVET accreditation requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related relevant field from a recognized university.
A Degree in Education or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or Diploma in Technical Education / Instructors’ Training Course.
Registration and/or membership with a relevant professional body.
Valid TVET accreditation.
A minimum of four (4) years’ teaching experience or relevant industry experience at a comparable level.
