Lecturer - Law

Requirements for the position of Lecturer Grade 12

• PhD Path: Must have an earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Law from an accredited and recognized university, and be registered or registerable by the relevant professional body (where applicable).
• Alternative Master’s Path: In special cases, a candidate with a Master’s degree in Law from an accredited and recognized university and at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level may be considered.
• Research and Publication: Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, with at least sixteen (16) of those points coming from referred journal papers.
• Professional Standing: Must be registered with the relevant professional body where applicable.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates must apply through a dual process:

2. Physical Submission: Submit one (1) copy of the application in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the specific area of application to the Vice Chancellor.

• Membership of professional associations.
• Email address and telephone contacts.
• Evidence of publications, supervision, and research grants.
• Copies of academic certificates and other relevant documents.
