Murang’a University of Technology (MUT) is the Successor of Murang’a University College (MRUC), a former constituent College of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). The University is strategically located 1.5 km from Murang’a Town in Muranga County. MUT is seeking to recruit a Vocational and Technical Trainer (Grade CSG10/JG 'K') specializing in Computer Science.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields from a recognized institution.
Experience: Relevant teaching experience of at least two (2) years at the Diploma or Higher National Diploma level.
Industry Experience: Practical industry experience in related fields is an added advantage.
Licensing: Being a registered and/or licensed member with TVETA is an added advantage.
Certification: Being a Trained Trainer/Assessor certified by TVET CDACC is an added advantage.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professionalism: Professional certifications or membership in relevant fields is desirable.
Niche Expertise: Pedagogy and practical experience in the relevant niche area will be an added advantage.
