Kisii University is seeking a Lecturer in Human Pathology to join its academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. This role involves active participation in research, curriculum development, and the overall academic growth of the School of Medicine.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Instruction and Assessment: Teach and assess courses in medical physiology (Pathology) for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.\n- Mentorship: Supervise postgraduate students in their research and academic progress.\n- Research: Initiate, promote, and participate in academic research projects.\n- Academic Engagement: Attend and contribute to seminars, workshops, and conferences within the relevant field.\n- Curriculum Development: Participate in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental curricula.\n- Governance: Attend departmental and School Board meetings and contribute to other administrative activities.\n- Community Outreach: Conduct community service and initiate linkages with external partners.\n- General Duties: Perform any other official duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.\n\n### Personal Attributes\n- Proficient in computer applications.\n- Self-motivated and highly disciplined.\n- Possess excellent command of the subject area, including adept lesson planning.\n- Capable of managing ambiguity and emotional intelligence.\n- Adaptable to technological changes in education.\n- Excellent communication, listening, and mediation skills.\n- Strong fundraising and grant writing abilities.\n- Outstanding presentation and research writing skills.\n\n### Minimum Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience\n- A relevant Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.\n- A Master's degree or its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized University/College is mandatory.\n- A PhD in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.\n- Previous teaching experience is preferred.\n- Registration by a relevant professional body.\n- Compliance with the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Kenyan Constitution.\n\n### How to Apply\nIf you possess the required qualifications and experience and aspire to work as a team member in a world-class University, please follow these steps:\n1.
