Laundry Attendant

• Laundry Processing: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to company standards.
• Garment Care: Inspect garments for stains or damage and apply appropriate treatments or stain removal techniques.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain laundry machinery safely and efficiently; ensure the laundry area remains clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages as necessary.
• Logistics and Delivery: Pick up and deliver laundry items to and from clients or designated locations, ensuring timely service.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records and basic logs of activities.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Educational Background: BA/BSc/HND level qualification.
• Driving Certification: A mandatory valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Professional Experience: Previous experience in laundry services, hospitality, or dry cleaning is an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Ability to operate industrial laundry machinery and knowledge of fabric care.
• Physical Attributes: Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, good time management, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
