Job Description
Dawa Life Sciences is continuously upgrading to new technologies and implementing robust processes to ensure we deliver best-in-quality products to our communities. We are seeking a Junior Product Manager to support the growth and development of our product portfolio through comprehensive research, strategic planning, and effective communication. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure our products deliver value to the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Product Research: Gathering physiological and pharmacological information on our products and compiling it for use in effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Market Research and Data Analytics: Gather qualitative and quantitative data on market trends, customers’ needs and analyze the information for decision making.
Sales Force Effectiveness: Prepare and conduct effective product knowledge training to the sales team and follow up with field visits to ensure effective brand strategy implementation.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate the brand strategies to the internal team and efficiently deliver our products value proposition to the external partners through various channels that are approved and compliant.
Brand Plans and Product Planning: Take up assignments in development and execution of brand plans for established and launch products.
Development of Marketing Materials: Content creation and design of marketing materials that effectively communicate the products value proposition and corporate image.
Promotional Activities: Execution of marketing and promotional activities in coordination with the sales team.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life sciences related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
Demonstrate a good understanding of anatomy and pharmacology principles.
Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry trends.
Must be details oriented and with good analytical skills.
Has demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and exceptional communication abilities.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications (including Google Sheets).
Have a passion for storytelling and training.
Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical market and willingness to travel around the country as assignments may require.
East African regulatory authorities’ knowledge.
Automation mindset and interest in process improvement.
