IT Onboarding Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support & Orientation: Support newly hired employees to ensure they have an excellent and welcoming first-day experience.
• Data Maintenance: Keep shared spreadsheets updated for all involved teams and ensure data accuracy by updating and transferring information from tickets to spreadsheets.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to implement updates and changes to processes, tickets, and internal documents.
• Documentation & Liaison: Serve as a liaison between teams, maintaining accurate records of meetings and documentation.
• Customer Service: Maintain a customer-first attitude at all times, providing prompt and helpful support.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience working effectively within a team environment.
• Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with ADManager, Endpoint Central, Azure, Microsoft Entra, and Power BI.
• Data Skills: Strong Excel and data tracking abilities.
• Documentation: Skilled in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), end-user guides, and multi-team documents.
• Communication: Clear and concise communication skills with multiple levels of management and staff; excellent writing and proofreading skills with the ability to adjust tone for various audiences.
• Aptitude: High technical aptitude and a quick learner of new tools and concepts.
• Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work efficiently, multitask, and innovate processes.
