ManPower Services Group is looking for a professional System Administrator to join their multinational firm. The role involves overseeing the administration, maintenance, and support of the Windows server environment, managing core IT services, and ensuring the security and integrity of the entire network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Server Administration: Administer, maintain, and support the Windows server environment, including core services like DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Office365.
Network Security: Implement and monitor firewalls, switches, and VPNs to ensure connectivity and robust security.
Backup & Recovery: Develop and verify routine backup and disaster recovery procedures (DR/BCP) to ensure data restoration capability.
System Monitoring: Proactively monitor performance, capacity, and availability while responding to alerts and incidents.
Security Management: Apply security patches, manage antivirus solutions, and participate in vulnerability management and audits.
Technical Support: Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex technical issues escalated from the Help Desk.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive system documentation and network diagrams.
Infrastructure Projects: Assist with the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, such as cloud migrations and hardware refresh cycles.
User Management: Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
ERP Support: Manage and support core systems including Microsoft Business Central and MS Dynamics Navision.
Hardware Management: Manage server room equipment including racking, cabling, and maintenance.
Training & Policy: Provide user training and participate in the formulation of ICT policies and standards.
Data Integrity: In-charge of data variations and follow-up to ensure all variations are effected.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized institution.
Certification: Professional certification in Software Management, Database Management, or System Administration.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support and customer service within a financial institution.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with MS Dynamics Navision and Microsoft Business Central.
Skills: Strong Help Desk service skills and ability to manage complex IT environments.
