The Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA) is a state corporation established under the Micro and Small Enterprise Act No. 55 of 2012. The Authority intends to onboard ten (10) youth under an Internship Programme to enable them to gain practical, on-the-job experience for a period of twelve (12) months. This initiative aligns with the Government Youth Initiative aimed at developing a pool of skilled young talent for the Kenyan labour market.
Role Overview
This 12-month internship program is designed to provide fresh graduates with hands-on experience in the public sector, specifically focusing on micro and small enterprise development. Interns will be integrated into various departments based on their specialization in business or social sciences to support the Authority's mandate.
Requirements
Must be a fresh graduate (Degree or Diploma).
Must be under 35 years of age.
Areas of specialization: Business-related or Social Science specialization.
Personal Attributes
Must be a person of Integrity.
Goal-oriented, dynamic, self-driven, and diligent individual.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be a team player.
Important Information
Duration: 12 months.
Note: Internship does not guarantee employment upon completion of the program.
