Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing computer programs and providing user support.
• Maintaining support systems and training of users.
• Repairing and maintaining information communication technology equipment and associated peripherals.
• Receiving, installing, and certifying information communication technology equipment.
• Configuring new information communication technology equipment.

Basic Salary and Terms of Service

• Basic Salary: Kshs. 32,700 – 42,690 per month.
• Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Social Sciences, or any other approved qualification from a recognized university.
