Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our client's manufacturing team in Juja. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws, and support employee engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee induction.
Maintain employee records and HR information systems.
Coordinate payroll inputs, leave administration, attendance, overtime, and statutory deductions.
Handle employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other labour regulations.
Coordinate performance management, probation reviews, and contract renewals.
Identify training needs and coordinate staff development initiatives.
Prepare HR reports and support management with HR metrics.
Promote employee engagement, workplace safety, and HR best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
CHRP qualification will be an added advantage.
Valid IHRM membership is preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
Experience handling payroll processes and statutory compliance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
