Job Description
Embu County Government is seeking to recruit three (3) Health Records & Information Management Assistant III. This role is responsible for the professional management of medical records and health information systems, ensuring that patient data is accurately captured, securely stored, and readily available for medical professionals and administrative reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and manage health records systems in compliance with medical standards.
Collect, code, and index health data for statistical use and patient history.
Ensure the privacy, security, and confidentiality of all medical records.
Prepare and submit routine health reports and statistical summaries.
Assist in the implementation of electronic health record systems.
Maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system for patient records.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Records and Information Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Valid National Identity Card.
Academic and Professional Certificates along with relevant Testimonials.
Candidates must be compliant with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya and provide clearances from the EACC, KRA, HELB, CRB, and DCI.
