Job Description
Taita-Taveta County Public Service Board is seeking to recruit a qualified individual for the position of Health Administrative Officer I. This is a permanent and pensionable position responsible for coordinating administrative and management functions within the county's health facilities, ensuring efficient operations that support clinical service delivery.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee administrative and management functions within the health facility.
Manage non-clinical hospital operations including logistics and maintenance.
Supervise administrative staff and ensure adherence to institutional policies.
Liaise with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery to patients.
Prepare administrative reports and documentation for management review.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen.
Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: Sociology, Health Administration, Business Administration/Management, Public Administration, Health Economics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A minimum of three (3) years' experience in the hospital management field.
Possess a Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Have shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
