Tourism Promotion Services (TPS), Serena Hotels is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Regional Head Office in Nairobi as Head of Risk & Compliance. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and engagement with the Board Audit & Risk Committee across our portfolio of 23 properties in 7 African countries. Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Risk Management: Oversee and manage enterprise risk management (ERM) strategies across the regional portfolio of 23 properties.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full regulatory compliance across all 7 African countries of operation.
Governance Frameworks: Develop, implement, and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure operational integrity.
Board Engagement: Lead engagement and reporting with the Board Audit & Risk Committee.
Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to property-level teams and manage risk mitigation processes across a complex multi-unit environment.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
Seasoned risk professional with strong leadership experience.
Experience in hospitality, banking, consulting, or a complex multi-unit environment.
Ability to handle multi-jurisdictional regulatory and compliance requirements.
