Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at senior and mid-management levels.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across territories and departments, including marketing, account management, and operations.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic indicators to inform pricing decisions, product mix, and sales approaches.
- Set annual sales targets, quotas, and gross-profit plans while managing forecasting, pipeline development, and performance tracking.
- Develop and coach a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage national sales operations, including resource planning, team assignments, and performance management.
- Drive adoption of sales and marketing automation platforms and ensure consistent sales processes and data quality.
- Oversee reporting and analytics to provide insights on demand generation, pipeline health, conversion metrics, and market segmentation.
- Define and enforce database quality standards and lead data improvement initiatives across sales and marketing.
- Champion the company’s values, offerings, and partnerships through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Report on key KPIs related to the lead and opportunity waterfall to implement a consistent closed loop between marketing and sales.

- Proficiency in analyzing data, building reports, and making strategic recommendations based on trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Deep understanding of the impact of operational initiatives on sales and marketing functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or Sales Leadership role.
- Previous business management experience in the East Africa region, primarily markets such as Uganda, Tanzania, and the Horn of Africa.
