Kivulini Eco Park Karen Hotel, a 2-star hotel located in Nairobi near Karen Fun Park, is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to lead its dining and bar operations. The hotel features an aqua park, water slides, and an American-style restaurant, and requires a professional who can ensure high standards of service and operational efficiency.
Role Overview
The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the F&B department, focusing on guest satisfaction, team leadership, and maintaining the quality of service in the hotel's restaurant and recreational facilities.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department and the American-style restaurant.
Lead and train the F&B team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and overall department policies.
Manage inventory, operational budgets, and productivity targets.
Proactively address guest feedback and resolve service issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in reputable hospitality organizations.
A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Proven track record in food and beverage management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
