As a Wireline Field Engineer, you will provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of multiple customer projects. You will play an essential role in identifying improvements to products, processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Problem Solving: Develop and analyze resolutions to problems encountered of moderately complex scope at the wellsite.
Mentorship: Supervise the training of less experienced engineers and personnel; perform additional duties within the district.
Operations Coordination: Work with the drill crew on location to coordinate operations with the rig and/or production facility.
Reporting: Provide a detailed record of all assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the wellsite.
Technical Advisory: Advise Customer Representatives with logging and completions operations, including interpreting logging data, troubleshooting, and wellsite analysis.
Equipment Supervision: Supervise equipment at the wellsite and at the shop to provide specific logging and completions services.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Higher National Diploma (HND) or a University Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of Wireline Completions products and services.
Technical Expertise: Thorough understanding and competency in oilfield wireline operations and services, specifically Tubing Conveyed Perforating (TCP).
Analytical Skills: Ability to identify the proper product and service for applications ranging from simple to complex.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work and communicate well with both internal and external customers.
